Regional Help Me Grow Community Engagement Coordinator
Full time Regional Help Me Grow Community Engagement Coordinator position available. The ideal candidate will be working as part of a team to provide public awareness and outreach for the Help Me Grow Program in the Southeastern Region. Responsibilities include; Community engagement, relationship building with program referral sources, weekly travel to area birthing hospitals, implementation of a Regional Community Engagement/Outreach Plan, maintaining records of regional outreach activities and preparing reports as needed.
The nature of work requires regional travel by personal automobile. Mileage reimbursement rate determined by the State of Ohio. The Southeastern Region covers a 13-county region including Noble, Monroe, Guernsey, Washington, Morgan, Perry, Muskingum, Coshocton, Tuscarawas, Jefferson, Belmont, Carrol and Harrison.
WORK WEEK: Monday through Friday flexible schedule. Remote work options available. Some evening and weekend hours are required for program activities and professional development.
Experience and requirements: Associate or Bachelor's degree with minimum two years public relations, communications, marketing, and/or branding work experience and/or minimum of two years of experience working in Early Childhood or Human Services preferred. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., word processing, electronic spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software), email applications, social media platforms, and internet usage. Team building skills; organizational and staff development skills. Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to deal with public tactfully and effectively and staff in a personable and professional manner. Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills. Must be self-motivated, proactive and solution focused. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and appropriate insurance coverage.
