OVERVIEW

UES, Inc is seeking a Research Physiologist to join our team working at the Air Force Research Lab in Dayton, OH. The successful applicant should be able to design, conduct, and support a wide range of physiological research focused on the human assessment of the physiological effects of flight, exercise, field operations, extreme environments and/or toxicological exposure under these conditions. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong research potential as evidenced by their training, lab experience, and peer-reviewed publications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Experience with analytical software such as R, Spike, LabVIEW, Prism and Insight is preferred. The Physiologist will perform and complete assignments involving work with diverse and dynamic collaborative groups, while maintaining constant and effective working relationships with government, academia, business, and industry customers, partners and stakeholders for coordination, support and changes to the scope of assigned work.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • BS + 10, MS + 5, or Ph.D. in Physiology, Kinesiology, Biophysics or related discipline. Experience may be substituted for education if directly applicable to the role.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an applied research setting
  • Some travel (~10-15%) is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and presentations
  • This position is within a government facility and US Citizenship is required.
