Summary of Position:

In the Shipping and Receiving/Driver role you will work within different areas of the business to provide support in various manufacturing and operation processes with the focus on supporting Shipping & Receiving.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming materials and count parts verify against our P.O.
• Visually inspect incoming packaging and product for damage
• Match travelers with received material
• Properly tag all incoming material and parts with identification tags
• Move parts in our MRP system to next dept (Tracking)
• Distribute incoming products to proper warehouse location.
• Load & unload packages on trucks when lift truck operation is required
• Drive tow motor to move parts and material throughout the building
• Ship-Outgoing product to customers
• Build crates and skids for specific product
• Enter information into MRP system and shipping vendor systems (UPS, FedEx)
• Assist with material handling duties by emptying and replacing scrap bins
• Manage/ schedule all metal scrap dumpsters
• Drive company vehicle to deliver/pick-up parts
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Identify waste (unwanted or needed items) and remove them from work area
• Manage inventory levels for all material needed to ship, protect, and package all materials

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Experienced and/or certified tow motor operator

• Oral communication and problem-solving skills
• Required: Clean Ohio Driver’s License
• Intermediate computer skills
• Reliable & driven with strong communication skills and a “can-do” attitude.
• Pay close attention to detail working to achieve error-free performance.

· Familiar with and practice of all safety standards.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (75 lbs. as needed, based on customer/company need)

Safety:

• Protective eyewear to be worn while operating machinery
• Steel toed shoes
