Installation and Setting Technician is responsible for driving to the job sites safely and most importantly ensuring the customer and partner experience is executed. Job duties will consist of the loading, unloading, positioning of stone in compliance with setting and handling standards in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner in a customer facing environment. Performs ad-hoc delivery, service and manufacturing plant needs. This position collaborates across all departments to ensure the information needed by the team is communicated and the installation and setting of each stone is taken care of for the customer to exact precision.

What you will be doing:

  • Performs the loading, unloading, moving, installation and setting of cemetery memorials to complete the final delivery
  • Drives truck based on business needs
  • Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards
  • Verifies the order for product, customer account and other information prior to loading and unloading stone
  • Communicates with internal and external personnel in a professional and timely manner Practices safe and secure loading methods to utilize the maximum amount of truck space and avoid damages
  • Reports errors found on finished stones to supervisor before delivered
  • Completes all documentation neatly and accurately
  • Able to learn and understand technology, particularly as it relates to identifying business processes
  • Operates manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner to perform delivery or plant duties - i.e. overhead and knuckle boom cranes Maintains a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned

What will make you successful:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous material handling experience preferred
  • Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be able and willing to fill in for driver as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills
  • Basic numerical reasoning and measurement skills
  • Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift stone weighing approximately 50 lbs. Repetitively

Work Environment:

Commercial, retail, inside, outside, and manufacturing environment based out of the Cleveland Location

Work Schedule:

Full Time and based on business needs
