Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary
Responsible for final assembly of high load disc (HLMR) and Versiflex Elastomeric (VEB) bearings, including packaging bearings for shipment.

What you'll do
Review bearing drawings and assemble bearings to specifications.
Label bearings with job numbers, lot numbers and upstations as needed.
Touch up coatings and apply epoxy grit as needed.
Rim and repair VEB bearings.
Skid, band and wrap bearings for shipment
Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number
Document work performed, including time & materials, on labor report, skid sheet and in computer.
Keep workstation clear and orderly
Perform safety checks on equipment in area.
Secondary Accountabilities
In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

Degree: High School Diploma / GED Major:
Years of Experience: 5 Area: Production Environment

Skills and competencies listed below are indicative of those required to successfully complete the job accountabilities.

Additional Position Competencies (max 4): Attention to Detail; Read shop drawing packages, Understand quality requirements, Multi-Task, Use of hand tools
Technical Skills: Reading and using precision measuring equipment, MS Office, Label making
Licenses / Certifications
Forklift operator certificate will be required
Physical Requirements
(Approximate time spent to be included in physical demands such as walking, or bending, specific lifting requirements (lbs) and/or other requirements such as vision or hearing.)
Most of the time spent sitting and walking. May be situations which require up to 40 pounds of lifting. Must be able to bend periodically. Must be able to see and hear.
