Culligan of Cleveland is searching for our next Commercial Water Treatment Technician. This position is ideal for someone who has mechanical aptitude and is looking to train for a lifelong career.

This position is responsible for servicing, installing, and repair of commercial and industrial equipment and products. A commercial installer must be able to communicate clearly with customers to ensure they are meeting the customers needs while representing the company in a professional, positive, helpful, and dependable manner so that the customers experience is exceptional.



* Experience in plumbing, maintenance, and knowledge of water treatment is a plus!*

Responsibilities:



    • Installation and repair/service of water treatment equipment in commercial or industrial sites

    • Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner

    • Complete on-call service needs on holidays and weekends as required

    • Review installation and service work orders

    • Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for

    • Follows standard procedures and processes

    • Provide telephone technical support when necessary

    • Conduct self positively and cooperatively, and communicate openly and positively with both customers and coworkers

    • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



    • Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various plumbing projects

    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs on a repetitive basis

    • Working proficiency in basic mathematics and metrics/standard measurements

    • Proficient at reading diagrams and troubleshooting problems with plumbing systems and equipment

    • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas

    • Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment including but not limited to bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting, and pulling (at times over 100 pounds)

    • Solid verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to self-direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity

    • Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills.
