Job Description

Summary

The Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and support of the Practice-facing product roadmap in alignment with overall company goals and objectives. Works closely and collaborates with a development team consisting of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and a Product Owner. Actively assists, corresponds and communicates with creative partners such as other Development Teams, UX Designers, Development Operations, and Project Managers.

Duties/Responsibilities

Work within the software development process to implement bug fixes and new features.

Provide support within the engineering team and partnering teams to develop, deploy, and maintain business-value features.

Analyze current and future work tickets to identify gaps in requirements, document relationships, and highlight dependencies.

Contribute to process and feature documentation by publishing guides, informative documents, and unit level testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

1 - 3 years of professional software engineering experience

Competencies

Competence in modern JavaScript (experience with React preferred)

Competence in modern Object-Oriented Programming (experience with Java preferred)

Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and common design patterns.

Proficiency in RESTful state web services.

Familiar with modern web application framework concepts (experience with Spring MVC and/or Node.js preferred).

Familiar with relational and document-based database technologies (experience with SQL and/or MongoDB preferred).

Familiar with Agile software development methodologies.

Knowledgeable of modern product development processes and pipelines.

Clear, effective, and considerate communicator.

Ability to learn, retain, and demonstrate software system concepts and practices.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.
$60,600.00 - $112,500.00
