Job Summary
As the Financial Analyst you will work with financial and accounting principles, including budgeting, year-end accounting and financial statements.
Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst Intern for CAI's Internship Experience Program (IXP) for Summer 2024! This role is full-time and remote - program runs from June 3rd - August 2nd 2024.
What You'll Do
* Work with financial and accounting principles, including budgeting, year-end accounting and financial statements
* Work with financial systems, such as ERPs, Bookkeeping systems, etc.
* Develop revenue and expenditure reports
* Create financial tables in a clean and professional manner in Excel
* Review financial data to determine potential exposure or weaknesses in operations and internal controls
* Trace financials to assist in auditing of records
* Organize tasks in a logical and cohesive manner
* Write professionally
* Be self-driven and have the ability to work independently with guidance from senior staff
* Public speaking
* Participate in HHS events throughout the internship
What You'll Need
Required:
* College experience in the areas of Accounting, Finance, or similar
* Working knowledge of general office equipment such as printer, scanner, and PC
* Understanding of office management systems, as well as procedures
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong organization and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize tasks
* Strong communicative skills
* High-level problem-solving skills
* Ability to effectively multi-task
Physical Demands
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
* Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
* Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
