Job Description

Working as a core member of our Trade Facilitation Services team, you will be responsible for the commercial development of our Product Conformity Assessment services. Our services prevent the importation of unsafe, substandard or counterfeit goods and support the implementation of obligatory legislation to protect consumer health and safety and the environment.

More specifically, you will:

* Lead the design, development, evolution and transformation of the service portfolio and adapt it to market needs and demands;
* Identify potential market opportunities and coordinate with our Market Development Managers to define strategy to penetrate new territories;
* Ensure conformity and harmonization of the service in terms of operation, promotion material and branding;
* Identify opportunities for the digitalization of the service portfolio and work with stakeholders to achieve this;
* Implement new services and solutions across the SGS network and ensure they have the necessary support to be successful;
* Coordinate the Business Development strategy for selling the product and ensure that staff are trained to do so;
* Hold overall profit and loss responsibility for the service and be in control of budget management.

Qualifications

* Educated to degree level;
* 5 years experience working in Product Certification or Conformity Assessment areas;
* Thorough understanding of the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI);
* Sound IT, Finance and Legal knowledge;
