Summary of Position:

CNC machinist to aid our company in its mission to deliver custom metal parts of superior quality at incredible prices. As one of our CNC machine set-up operators, you will interpret customer drawings as well as operational drawing, set up the machine and monitor it as it operates. You will make critical contributions to our company’s reputation, ensuring the excellence of our products by following inspection protocols and detecting errors before products are released.

Job Duties:

• Fill IP sheets per required AQL level.
• Maintain production level at 90% efficiency.
• Run two machines when required.
• Set up job per the set-up sheet, operation drawing, and program provided.
• Keep area and machines clean and organized.

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints and have a basic understanding or GD&T
• Performing all general/intermediate machinist duties and responsibilities
• Verifying settings and adjusting CNC accordingly
• Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Working with all floor supervisors and team leaders, making every effort to maintain production schedules, and limiting waste, scrap, re-works.
• Working with Quality Control personnel to maintain the highest quality product.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, carry, reach, twist.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Safety:

• Steel toe or composite toe boots or shoes
• Protective eyewear to be worn while operating machinery.

Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Pass Background check
• Produce negative Drug Screening results
