Job Purpose

The primary focus of content is to develop and drive data collection and stewardship strategies to meet current and future content needs in Dana's global marketplace.

Job Duties and Responsibilities


Take ownership of application data management process
Proactively lead application content projects to meet current and future customer, market, and internal data analysis needs.
Be an expert in content data practices and lead the technical efforts of the application content team.
Develop market and line assessments, market trends, strategy development, and competitive position analytics - constantly measuring Dana's data
Assist in global application development for Dana's global selling regions.
Align with product management, pricing, business analytics, and e-commerce to represent our application data strategies and needs
Oversee daily activity of analysts who are doing OE and competitive research, application data maintenance, and ensuring customer data requirements are met
Manage VIO data analytics, teaching other analysts how to use and share the data within Dana and supporting customers as required.
Ensure proper data management practices are in place, and monitor data governance health
Ensure proper data maintenance of application data, OE data, and competitive cross-references
Manage application data flow to/from other systems internally
Manage application software supplier relationship and manage application software related projects
Serve as a technical expert in data management practices and develop team skills in advanced SQL and other database management techniques
Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum Bachelors Degree Preferred in Business Administration or Technical discipline
Minimum 5 - 7 years of aftermarket content/catalog experience
Experience with PIMS, SQL, PowerBi, SAP, etc. considered a plus
Understanding of the CV or LV market and Dana's products is preferred; prior experience in the CV or LV aftermarket a plus
Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as needed with the ability to work non-traditional business hours
