Job Summary

As part of the BGPM optimization team, this role will support the development and enhancement of Keys lending program by focusing on areas of continuous improvement driving efficiency and reducing redundancy and over production within the model and operating systems.

This position will coordinate the receipt of underwriting system enhancement recommendations from Business Group Portfolio Management personnel to address system improvement and process gaps. The role will serve as the liaison with technology developers to assist with requirement gathering, development and execution of user acceptance testing. They will serve as a point person for day-to-day system issues and work with the appropriate parties for resolution. They will take the lead and support the prioritization of system enhancements based on criticality, ease of implementation, and benefit, collaborating with various stakeholders and using data to influence project selection tied to Key's overall strategy and business initiatives. The role will support the development of reporting, dashboards, and tools that enhance Banking Group Portfolio Management business management.

The successful candidate must have experience in nCino, commercial underwriting/credit, possess a continuous improvement mindset, and have outstanding communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Function as point of contact to manage partnership with nCino developers and technology professionals while championing a one Key mindset in future nCino development and improvement initiatives.
Coordinate the receipt of system enhancement recommendations from BGPM personnel to address system improvement and process gaps. Assist with the prioritization of the enhancements based on criticality, ease of implementation, and benefit.
Communicate system updates, enhancements and system issues to BGPM personnel and support training to operating systems.
Partner with credit systems and technology developers to build testing plans and scripts.
Responsible for the execution of User Acceptance Testing on behalf of BGPM with the ability to test on own and assign to others for testing, as needed.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of system procedural manuals, collaborating with users, partners (credit systems, training, risk) and business managers as applicable.
Support the underwriting and portfolio monitoring reporting and dashboard needs of BGPM.
Work with BGPM leaders and stakeholders to identify improvement objectives, supporting the design of workflows to optimize performance to those objectives, including the development of process maps, strategy for implementation, and communication plans, etc.
Partner with stakeholders across Key's franchise to drive collaboration, efficiency and aligned execution throughout Keys end to end lending process including but limited to origination, underwriting, closing, booking, funding, servicing, and ongoing portfolio management.
Utilize Agile and Lean methodologies to document current state processes and identify high return/high value process improvement opportunities.
Performs other duties, responsibilities and/or activities, as assigned that align to the strategic objectives of Banking Group Portfolio Management

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (required)

Experience Qualifications

Experience with commercial lending to include understanding of traditional and automated consumer and commercial credit underwriting/approval methodologies and their use
Knowledge of commercial credit policies, procedures, and loan systems
3+ years experience using salesforce/nCino application
Proficient at collecting performance measurements, creating dashboards, and monitoring on-going performance
Proven ability to work with an organization to drive out technology requirements that yield business value realization
1-3 years Project management experience or experience leading teams and/or projects
Knowledge of technology system testing concepts
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and procedural manuals
Ability to plan, multi-task, manage time effectively, and work on own with limited direction
Excellent interpersonal and self-motivation skills

Physical Demands

General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $120,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
