OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County is sourcing a Production Baker for a Bakery on the East side of Cleveland. 

Job Requirements:

• Work under our head baker in the croissant department and baking department.
• Prepares bakery items according to recipes
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Responsible for quality assurance of pastry that you make
• Maintain stock & storage and labeling of all food items
• Comfortable standing, lifting and bending for duration of a 6-8 hour shift
• Follows opening, closing and other procedural checklists correctly
• Check in orders and put away
• Help ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen and storage areas
• Recognizes and communicates errors, potential quality or equipment issues with supervisors
• Arrives on time for all shifts and meetings and adheres to dress code
• Able to work weekends as needed
• Problem solver & strong communication skills
• Assist in training new staff and seasonal staff, as requested
• A dynamic employee - self-motivated and friendly with high energy level
• Works very effectively as part of a team
• Committed to maintaining the high quality standards of our company
• Easily adapts to change and continuous improvement
• Be coachable – actively looking for feedback to grow and improve

Qualifications and Skills

• 1+ years experience in high volume scratch bakery
• Culinary background a plus
• Passion for local food and scratch pastry

Shift 
7 am to 3 pm 
No background check 
No drug test 

Part time is 20 hours and a week 
Full time is 40 hours a week
