Delphos Industrial Mechanic
Position Summary:
This position is located at the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Delphos, OH. Must be safety conscious and willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay is $27.39 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium, full pay rate after meeting skill qualifications and education requirements is $31.91 per hour. Qualified applicant must be able to work independently following a 90-day probationary period. Current position is 3rd shift.
Core Functions:
Repair gearboxes, drive couplings, chain drives, belt drives
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, centrifugal, piston, rotary and other positive displacement pumps
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective actions.
Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
Create and work in a safe environment
Timely completion of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures, applicable standards, guidelines and policies
Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
Perform preventative predictive maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Skill/Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years industrial mechanical experience preferred
Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures
Ability to follow policies and procedures
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
Good attendance
