Job Description

What You'll Do


Gathering information from customers on their needs and help design the product to meet those needs.
Facilitate the technical exchange between the customer and Standex engineering teams.
Successfully identify strategic customers and build strong technical relationships with industry leaders.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of end product landscape.
Manages and drives strategic growth laneways and market tests within the Mil-Aero product line.
Set, monitor, report and achieve annual sales goals for assigned strategic growth laneways.
Identify and solve technical concerns for new business opportunities in the field
Understand and promote key technical capabilities of Standex Electronics to drive sales growth.
Oversees the development of strategies to:

Develop new customers and products.
Identify new market opportunities for Standex Electronics competencies.

Drive R&D efforts by identifying trends of new products and new markets to drive long-term growth.
Leverage their technical knowledge to become a subject matter expert on product line
Participate/give new and existing customer's technical sales presentations.
Provides input towards new products and new markets to drive long-term growth.
Support the regional sales team with CRM updates for assigned projects and opportunities.
Assist marketing and communication team in designing and launching campaigns to increase awareness of Standex brand in target segments.

Additional Responsibilities


Promotes a positive image of Standex Electronics to customers and the industry in the region.
Provides leadership to constantly improve Standex electronics customer-based cultures.
Performs other duties and oversees projects/assignments as directed by the VP of Product Management, or his designee.
Conduct training programs for field sales members and representatives.

What You'll Bring


BS degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical B-to B component environment, or BS in Business Administration. Background in sales, marketing or engineering experience in electromechanical products preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
