Job Description Summary:

As a member of Airgas's Engineering Solutions Group, based in Twinsburg, OH, this individual will play a key role in the growth of Airgas's bulk, industrial, and Specialty Gas business through the design and installation of equipment to support Airgas's portfolio of gas applications to the various industries we serve. With a focus on Safety, Functionality and Reliability, both internally and externally, this position will be focused on providing Airgas customers with support and development of complete process solutions, including gases, technology and equipment.

The ALTEC Trainee Program is to be considered a competitive one to two year program for new engineering associates to accelerate professional growth by providing training, exposure and experience in a variety of key functional areas that impact our business. These associates will work directly with leaders and mentors on the ALTEC Engineering Team who can contribute to their career development in addition to helping them build technical and leadership skills. Associates selected for this trainee program are to demonstrate exceptional performance and leadership skills within the role for the current business needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, metallurgical or chemical engineering preferred. Relevant co-op or work experience and/or training considered.

Prior internship and work experience up to two years post graduate

Ability to travel at least 20%

Preferred Qualifications

Expert in heat treatment or combustion a plus

Previous Engineering experience a plus
