This is a Dual Level Position. It can be filled at a Level 3 or 2

.
Technically, you will... ( Level 3 )

Collaborate with Amazing Team Members (Level 3)
Assist in replicating Service Request issues and provide feedback to resolve the issue
Contribute to release night application validation activities.
Solid understanding of SDLC testing activities for assigned feature work and mentor other team members in those activities.
Contribute in team conversations, meetings, and feature discussions.
Test Design and Planning
Review implementation requirements to provide meaningful, timely and critical feedback to improve the requirements.
Estimate and prioritize project requests across areas of the application.
Create and execute detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases for features and maintenance bugs requiring test coverage.
Develop and execute test automation scripts.
Report required test metrics.
Assists with internal partner initiatives.
Implement Some Really Cool Projects: ( Level 3 )
Review error logs in all environments in order to troubleshoot solution defects and environment issues.
Identify feature related bugs and performance improvements and create corresponding documentation.
Support major and minor production releases. Quickly troubleshoot, evaluate, and resolve any issues that arise.
Efficiently and effectively produce high quality throughput.
Review production and lower environments to ensure high quality performance by identifying new monitor requests.

Ensure that our is Product Proficient ( Level 3 )

Solid understanding of the primary product domain and downstream effects of changes to it.
Basic knowledge of other product domains within the division.
A subject matter expert and is sought out by others for peer reviews, advice, and/or problem solving.

Experience you'll bring ( Level 3 )

4 - 6 years of relevant experience typical in this role
Effective in distributed team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with tools and programming languages defined by the development manager specific to the team
Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies
Solid knowledge in software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting stored procedures
Experience with automated testing tools, C# scripting

It would be nice if you... ( Level 3 )

Preferred degree in computer science or a related field.
Have experience with Robot Framework and/or Python.
Have experience in Employee Benefits and Healthcare industries.
Are able to pick up and relate to multiple concepts quickly.
Are able to retain and recall an abundance of information.

A versatile mid level QA engineer able to deliver high-quality results by using the team's tools and tech stacks, with minimal supervision
Has an agile mindset, excellent communication skills, and critical thinking skills
Be able to work in an Agile environment, performing QA duties for multiple teams, working on a variety of products
Collaborates with the Product owner, development team, and other key stakeholders instrumental to the project
Team player that uses interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Translates the test requirements into manual and/or automation testing procedures
Logs detailed defects and follow up until resolution
Uses analytics tools for data-driven testing
Able to work with automation tools and frameworks
Contribute to automated testing repositories and perform peer code reviews
Identifies ways to optimize the testing window and maximize the quality of the product
Has a problem-solving mindset and is able to solve testing problems, create negative test cases, and communicate issues with the scrum team
Clearly express product-level testing concerns and testing categories in CI/CD pipelines
Demonstrate expertise in building consensus across diverse business groups and leaders.
Demonstrates comfort level with creating SQL union, accepts, intersecting, and joins in write comparisons.
Analyze and interpret design specifications, and business requirements and apply information to the functional and non-functional testing process.

Experience you'll bring ( Level 2 )

2+ years experience of QA testing and automation experience
Some experience in data science, data testing, and/or data analytics
Knowledge of designing, coding and maintaining test automation frameworks
Knowledge of integrating test automation into CI/CD using Azure DevOps/Bamboo/Jenkins
Knowledge of writing and debugging test automation code for UI/API
Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
Knowledge of database and testing tools
Knowledge of Java, Python, Robot or other Object Oriented Programming
Can demonstrate critical thinking skills through past accomplishments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

It would be nice if you... ( Level 2 )

Interested in market trends, new technologies, and innovation
Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time
Have experience with AWS, test management tools
Experience with Git or Azure ADO & Selenium

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
