About the role:

We're seeking a motivated intern to learn various aspects of DAR PRO Storage Solution's UCO equipment manufacturing process. You'll collaborate with various teams to develop and document manufacturing process flows in a modern metal fabrication facility.

Your main focus will be to document individual processing steps and explore opportunities for enhanced safety, training documentation, quality control and higher throughput to enhance our customers' experience.

You'll be exposed to different areas of manufacturing processes including:

Fabrication including laser cut, brake, punch and weld
Assembly
Purchasing
Scheduling
Inventory Control
Support the launch of new technology or tools.
Stay up-to-date on emerging manufacturing trends to maintain a competitive edge

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as marketing, communications, or business
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Preferred Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with great problem-solving and research skills
Solid understanding of basic manufacturing principles
Ability to work closely with a team and collaborate daily

Physical Demands

Frequently must sit for extended periods.
Occasionally walk, bend, balance, or stoop.
Regularly required to reach with hands or arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in an office and manufacturing environment.
Less than 10% domestic travel.
