About the Team/Role

As the Director of Reporting and Data Integrations, you'll be instrumental in molding the trajectory of data-driven decision-making within our organization. You'll helm three BI technical teams, amounting to around 20-25 talented individuals, who are at the forefront of crafting advanced visualizations. Your realm will encompass the stewardship of our bespoke reporting solution grounded in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), alongside a close collaborative effort with the Data Platform team on data migrations to Snowflake.

Your acumen will further be tapped into for the strategic planning and expansion of future reporting, integration, and visualization functionalities in alliance with our data and analytics product team. Additionally, your leadership will extend to a specialized team dedicated to devising and maintaining BizTalk integrations.

How you'll make an impact

Lead and nurture three BI and Biztalk technical teams, championing an ethos of innovation, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement.

Take charge of and refine our custom reporting solution utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services, ensuring it aligns with our business's dynamic requirements.

Partner with the Data Platform team to orchestrate and execute data migrations to Snowflake, guaranteeing a seamless transition and optimized performance.

Collaborate closely with the data and analytics product team to chart and implement the trajectory for future reporting, integration, and visualization features to be embedded in our products.

Collaborate with the Enterprise and Product Architecture teams in designing long term solutions for Reporting, Visualization, and Data Integration capabilities.

Oversee the team responsible for Biztalk integrations, ensuring seamless and efficient data interchange across various systems.

Forge and maintain pivotal relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization to synchronize BI strategies with corporate objectives.

Remain at the cutting edge of BI, analytics, and data management trends and technologies, integrating industry best practices into our operational framework.

Building business cases for investment in future state architectures.

Experience you'll bring

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing technical teams.

Demonstrated proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and a good understanding of Snowflake and Biztalk integrations.

Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of inspiring teams towards achieving unparalleled excellence.

Stellar project management skills, seasoned in overseeing large-scale data migration and BI initiatives.

A deep comprehension of BI technologies, data modeling, ETL frameworks, and data visualization tools.

Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at engaging and swaying stakeholders across all levels.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $181,000.00 - $241,000.00
