Purchases goods and services. Manages the replenishment of products to ensure adequate supply on hand and future stocking to meet anticipated production volume and inventory goals. Manage initial product forecast adjustments. Maintains timely and accurate purchase order costing and follows up on vendor confirmations. Prepare risk buy analysis. Expedites deliveries and product fill-in orders based on anticipated demand. Manages excess and dead inventory by executing inventory management processes and procedures. May provide drawings to help suppliers understand specially configured items. Works with NPI and Project CORE Team on material related topics. Works with the warehouse to identify, receive and present material to the point of usage. Works with Accounts Payable on outstanding invoices. Reports delays to NPI and Project Teams.
