Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Hiring for 3rd shift (11pm - 7am)
This position is located in Napoleon, Ohio and is a brownfield plant start-up. The facility will be a Dana final assembly plant for the Ford Bronco and Ranger products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work activity includes incoming and in-process inspections of production parts and assemblies, layout inspections, quality audits, gage inspections and calibrations, and inspections of suspected nonconforming materials.
- Report back to the assembly line if no quality work is available/needed.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Knowledge in compliance/adherence to process for themselves, their direct reports, and all others within the organization
- Demonstrated strength of character to succeed in high pressure manufacturing environment
- Possess knowledge of current product or experience in metal machining operations and assembly desirable.
- Must possess good organizational skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to make fundamental mathematical calculations.
- Physically capable of disassembly/assembly of product, e.g., axle assemblies.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient communication skills in the English language.
- Possess knowledge in the application of measurement equipment (gages and gaging systems).

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing & walking
