Summary of Position:

Position requires experience in Military, Aerospace, Medical and Commercial paint application.
Process internal and external components that meet or exceed customer expectations. Perform other related activities as directed by supervisor or department manager. Ownership of department safety and EPA regulations. Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and orderly.

Job Duties:

• Understand and follow all department safety and EPA requirements.
• Read and understand procedures and work instructions that pertain to the application and testing of coatings.
• Process components to drawings, procedures, work instructions and component travelers.
• Maintain spray equipment and booths.
• Verify paint and related materials in stock.
• Verify shelf life of stocked materials.
• Support department Key Indicators – Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost.
• Ensure all required documentation is understood and completed for each order.
• Ability to consistently complete the required processes per established rates.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience in Military, Aerospace, Medical and Commercial paint applications.
• Follow all internal safety and EPA standards.
• Able to trouble shoot and repair spray equipment.
• Working knowledge of paint inspection processes.
• Support any overtime including Saturdays.
• Oral communication and critical thinking skills.
• Team player

Physical Demands:

• Upright mobility
• Lifting components up to 20 lbs.
• Able to apply coatings for entire shift.
