Job Description

The Kitchen Manager has the responsibility for all Diner kitchen operations, and reports to the Diner Manager. 

  • A partial list of responsibilities:
  • Assist with training and development of staff to ensure consistency in food being served 
  • Monitoring quality of food being prepared in the kitchen. 
  • Ensure proper food handling, practice are consistently being used. 
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are being observed. 
  • Become proficient with POS system use and reports.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained on kitchen supplies
  • Ensure proper closing procedures are followed.
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events.
  • Ensure safety of diner associates and guests in the event of accident, emergency, or weather events. 
  • Be aware of location, and be familiar with operation of fire extinguishers, AED, First AId, and other safety equipment.

Compensation based on experience and performance, starting at $17-$22
Expected hours 30-60 per week.
