This position works independently and under minimal oversight from management in supporting the execution of projects, scheduling work, and performing data analysis to assist the Distribution Construction team and alliance contractors. The Operations Resource Analyst is responsible for working closely with supply chain, BTS, EAM, distribution project specialists, inspectors, project management office, permitting agencies, GIS, sales, and engineering staying in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
This position also has a contributory responsibility to aid in determining and overseeing department and project objectives and works closely with supervisors and those in a project management capacity to ensure our distribution capital program is executed efficiently and safely. This role supports the teammates who leverage alliance contractors to complete projects within Distribution Construction. The Operations Resources Analyst allows management the opportunity to concentrate on strategic initiatives by providing resource and market intelligence, analysis, project task assistance, and reporting as well as timely performance metrics.
Responsibilities
File for, acquire, and track permits for Distribution Construction projects.
Review and approve service as-builts in LocusView and Maximo.
Process Contractor Payment Requests in Maximo.
Perform project lifecycle reporting and monitoring in Maximo.
Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders and ensure accurate reporting and monitoring.
Provide support for changes within Maximo, including new contract line items and enhancements.
Prepare and report appropriate performance metrics to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic/required Qualifications
Associates degree
In lieu of required degree, High School/GED and 5 years relevant work experience

Working Conditions
Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility.

Able to occasionally lift and carry items up to 10 lbs
Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
Able to travel up to 25% of time with occasional overnight stays
