JOB SUMMARY

Frostbite has an immediate job opening for a General Lab Worker who will:

- Provide basic support within the laboratory

- Assist lab technicians in sample setup/sorting, preparation, and clean-up

- Assist lab technicians with actual testing activities

- Perform laboratory result data entry

- Work under close supervision and follow all established procedures

SCHEDULE: Weekly - Monday - Friday; 9am-5pm

PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities


Assist lab technicians in sample setup/sorting, preparation, and clean-up
Assist with testing raw, intermediate, and finished products as well as with collecting and testing environmental samples according to established procedures
Complete data entry into the computer system(s); maintain lab records as directed
Wash lab utensils and glassware; assist with other clean-up activities
Assist with calibrating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation as directed
Provide general laboratory assistance as needed
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience


High school diploma or equivalent
General lab experience preferred
Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
Able to follow directions
Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be able to read, write and speak English
