Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of Quality Management principles and practices in broad areas of assignment with a focus on engineering solutions for continued improvement and development of the Management System. The role of the ENA Quality Systems Engineer is the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of best practices for quality processes and systems, working alongside local resources at the plants. The MS team takes a risk-based approach and works with area leaders and personnel to streamline processes, standards, and practices into a best-in-class status. Directly reports to ENA Senior Manager, Quality Systems.

Salary Range: $75,300- $85,000

Education and Work Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide training and champion the network to management system excellence including conformity to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), ASI, and ENA policies.

Organize, manage, lead, and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain, including system, and product audits utilizing a risk-based approach.

Develop innovative and practical solutions to complex and unique process problems using best practices, innovation, and creativity. Lead/support through implementation.

Work closely with all levels of plant personnel to understand current state and develop engineered solutions to address nonconformities and drive improvement.

Provide QMS support throughout the organization and assist with management and execution of CAPA's, NC's, and SCAR's.

Study all ENA sites and the competitive landscape to understand the best methods (true north ultimate target) of performing key tasks within all operations with a focus on process performance and enabling improved efficiencies.

Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service suppliers.

Leads / Supports significant Quality System projects effectively using a working knowledge of project management techniques.

Ability to engineer systemic solutions to organizational challenges. While auditing is an important part of the role, the preferred candidate will be able to work collaboratively to solve systemic issues and not simply leave lists for stakeholders to complete on their own.

Perform other duties, as needed, and as directed by your line of supervision.

Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementation and ongoing execution utilizing a collaborative approach to working with others and engaging interest.

Been part of a cultural change within an organization and have vision for true north based improvement (Preferred).

Well-developed written and oral communication skills to ensure clear and professional communications to all levels of the organization.

Share best practices across all areas of the business. Support plants in implementation.

Strong technical and problem-solving foundation with knowledge of structured problem-solving methods (e.g. 8-D, A3, etc.)

Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements AIAG Core Tools and AIAG CQI Assessments. IATF 16949 Lead Auditor (Preferred).

Experience in Compliant Pro and SAP (Preferred). Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Travel will be required in this role and should be expected at least twice per month. A minimum of three (3) travel days per travel week is to be expected. The position reports out of a home office given network responsibility.
