Job Description

This position is accountable for growing sales, margin, market share and profit for a strategic vehicle collision repair customer with multiple locations within the United States. Primarily focused on accounts based in the east.

The incumbent will work directly with the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts, Regional Directors, and Area Sales Managers across the Branch Sales Organization to grow and maintain sales, gallons, and profit objectives by devising, implementing and executing appropriate programs and processes.

The incumbent is also responsible for taking a lead role in working directly with the assigned accounts to ensure our programs and processes are aligned to the customer's growth strategy.

To ensure seeking and securing new large regional business in the growing markets of Collision Networks and significant Dealership Groups that fall into the MSO segment.

The incumbent oversees the mechanical and statistical functions of the assigned account, as well as the implementation of "best practices" and procedures across each of the account's multiple locations, and the communication/training of Company Representatives on these procedures and processes to ensure consistency, timeliness, and increased productivity.

The overall objective is to provide increasingly competitive, high level, collision repair sales and business development programs that will significantly improve the growth of the assigned account and profitably improve S-W Automotive market share.



Sets long-term growth strategy and maintains a strategic business plan for the assigned accounts by continuously evaluating market opportunities and adapts the strategy and the business plan as the market evolves.

Collaborates with Sales Directors, Area Sales Managers and VR Sales Representatives to ensure processes developed for the assigned account are implemented and executed within the account's collision repair facilities.

Maintains knowledge of competitive activities and Sherwin-Williams' competitive advantages.

Maintains memberships and participates in industry associations.

Utilizes S-W Value-Added Programs implementation model to competitively meet the rapidly changing demands of the assigned account through Collision Core and other S-W branded value-added programs.

Establishes regular communication with the Field Sales Management teams for the purpose of evaluating and measuring effectiveness of current programs and gaining insights for further tools and processes.

Establishes and continually builds relationships with key leadership members with the assigned accounts and within the collision repair facilities associated with the assigned accounts.

Collaborates with SWAF equipment specialists to recommend maximum efficiency, high quality equipment to improve shop productivity.

Understands, designs and provides guidance on all aspects of a body shop to include maximum workflow, lean operations, front office, equipment needs.

Guides the assigned account and employees across the Branch Sales Organization the account development, process development, supply chain management and continuous improvement efforts.

Teaches / instructs the assigned account's management / business plan to employees across the Branch Sales Organization.

Communicates current sales promotions, new product development, etc. to the assigned account.

Identifies potential problems and works with the appropriate internal support network to resolve issues promptly and correctly.

Develops and delivers presentations to large groups.

Develops annual Operating Plan and submits for approval.

Develops the annual Budget and submits for approval.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Incumbent is required to have and to exercise a deep understanding of industry issues and trends, of the various business segments as they specifically relate to opportunities and needs of the customer.

Communicating with customer's Senior Management on specific details relating to all relevant issues, as they expect the incumbent to know their industry, business model strategy and key individuals.

Provide innovative and creative guidance and conflict resolution.

Responsible for intervention and problem resolution for issues that are escalated beyond Direct Reports' authority.
