As a Labor Relations Representative, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.

You will identify and drive operating efficiencies through contractual agreements, provide labor relations support to employees and leaders across the organization, and enable a positive workplace culture and environment by:


Equitable administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation, and overall compliance
Facilitating effective management/union relations
Administration of attendance program
Administration and discipline assessment
Run attendance reports and gather information to compile into presentations with trend analysis
EEOC and other workplace investigations
Coaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shift
Implementation of lean manufacturing activities



Key experiences and know-how

The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:


Interpretation and application of contracts and agreements
Management of compliance and investigatory processes within a union environment
Facilitation or participation in difficult interactions or situations, focusing on conflict resolution


Analyzing data and using data to make decisions

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree
Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and occasional holidays.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or related field
2+ years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting tools
Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
