What your day will look like:

Assist the Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients (including complex clients) and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers as necessary particularly on Commercial Risk/National Healthcare business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Maintains effective and positive relationships with clients. Serves independently in a client-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexity.
Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients, and account team members. Completes applicable paperwork required for state specific patient compensation fund enrollments.
Handles patient compensation enrollments, patient compensation surcharges, captive rates and premium charges, client open items and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
Actively supports and monitors the renewal process. At the direction of the Broker and Account Executive, drafts quote estimates for patient compensation fund surcharges. Enroll providers into the patient compensation funds at renewal, provides the certificates of insurance and invoicing. Keep up to date provider rosters and works with captive agencies on renewal rates to provide renewal captive premiums.
Where applicable, serves as the primary point of contact with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed efficiently and quality of client deliverables.
Primary collaborator with Premium Accounting on client billing matters.
Receives and handles routine and sophisticated state specific medical professional liability coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, provider additions, terminations, specialty class changes, address changes, invoices, and allocations.
Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, receivables, and collections. Addresses and resolves problems.
High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft applications.
Efficient and detail oriented.
Ensures tools are understood and used. Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree a plus
3-5 years of Insurance experience preferred
P&C license or must obtain with 90 days of hire

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000-$65,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
