Role and Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager is a member of the ASIST Delivery Team and is responsible for ensuring the safe operational delivery and integration of recurring Training, Maintenance, Engineering and Platform support services for their assigned sites and platforms to meet contract requirements.

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager Air Services, their responsibilities include external customer engagement, management of stakeholder expectations, and ensuring service delivery for training, maintenance, engineering and projects for their assigned platforms and sites. This includes ensuring the development and implementation of the Annual Work Plan associated with each platform.

This role will be based at RAAF Base Amberley.

The role we are offering you

Ensuring implementation of CAE's safety management system at assigned sites to maintain a "safety first" culture
Ensuring efficient and on-time delivery and high-quality Training and Support Services in line with customer and contract requirements;
Delivering maximised performance against contracted SPMs and SHIs;
Collaborating with the Functional Managers and Training Centre Managers to ensure that internal resources for the delivery of training, maintenance, engineering, and project activity are identified and communicated

Our ideal candidate has:

Strong program, project and/or key account management experience
Proven team management experience
Understanding of defence procurement procedures
Defence industry experience required, ideally within Airforce - bonus if it's experience with KC30!

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
